Sonic: Friendship is Trivia

i decided to make a list of cool things you probably already knew and didn't know about Friendship is Eternal

1. The NightMare 7 were inspired by the 7 Shadow Dragons. like Sour Apple is sort of like Haze Shenron. Midnight was exactly like Syn Shenron, especially when she absorbed the essences of the others like he did to become Omega. the only difference is that she couldn't get Trixie's due to the fact she already merged with her light counterpart.

2. Pinkie's Super Form was based on her early concept art when she was white with blonde hair, a pegasus, and her name was Surprise. my variation doesn't have wings and is still an Earth Pony.

3. Twilight's Super Form is based on the fact she has incredible magical ability and power. hence the name Arcane, which is an ancient and very high level magic.

4. Luna's struggle with Nightmare Moon was inspired by various fics that had her struggle internally against her. not very original i know, but it's something that still isn't old yet.

5. The Room of Self-Actualization is based off the Hyperbolic Time Chamber (room of time and space) from DBZ. it gets it's name from the Hierarchy of Needs where the highest and final stage of it is Self-Actualization. won't go into details, look it up when you can. but the room serves to make a pony realize who they truly are and accept it to become a better individual.

6. The Stalker was inspired by the fear that is generated when you know someone is watching you and you can't do anything about it. it's body was inspired by Donkey Kong, just with longer legs. and it's face structure is the same as Naruto's when he's 4 tail. the eyes and teeth being the most strikingly similar.

7. Stargazer was first created while i was listening to Fly Me To The Moon from Bayonetta. i can't really go into details, since it's fuzzy, but he came to be thanks to my imagination while hearing that song.

8. Red Giants and White Dwarves got their names from the stage of life a star goes through. a Brown Dwarf, which is what a White Dwarf becomes, is when the star is completely burnt out and becomes a ball of rock and dust.

9. There are 5 total sagas to Friendship is Eternal. Trixie was the first and Stargazer is the second.

10. in this fic Changeling Queens can serve two lifetimes. at the end of their life they become a cocoon and literally rebirth themselves to a younger age to rule for longer. should the Queen have a child she will die and the child will take her place. should she not reproduce in either lifetime the changelings will search for a suitable female and convert her to a changeling to make a new queen.

11. I wanted to put Mephiles in without making gigantic plot holes. so by using Chrysalis and her getting into a second life i made Shadow become a primary image in her head and thus her cells responded by shifting to it when Metal and Gilda talked about it. upon hatching she became a he and was known as Mephiles. the green eyes with slit pupils was just a coincidence

12. Metal, Gilda, and Mephiles will play a major part in saga 3.

13. Stargazer is the longest lasting villain thusfar. Trixie only lasted 10-15 chapters since introduction. and Stargazer has lasted from Ch. 23 up to now. almost 30 chapters.

14. Sonic: FiE is the longest running fanfic i've ever written. not only is it 50+ chapters but that's 10x larger than any other fanfic i've written. since they usually got to ch 5 and died.

15. Sonic: FiE is the first Crossover fic i've ever written

16. The element of Humility is based on the definition of Humility. which is not to boast one's talents. like if you know you tell funny jokes you won't boast about it. that's humility. you let other people talk about your talents. it's ironic for Trixie since she always boasted, but now represents the 7th element that makes Harmony possible.

17. The 7th Element of Harmony took about a week of thought before it was finalized for me. i was debating whether or not i should make a 7th element and just decided, ah screw it. and just did it.

18. the 2nd Special is set to have 20,000+ words in it. it is currently at about 2,000. only 1/10 of the way.

19. Tails's Turbo suit was inspired by Iron Man, and the fan given name Turbo Tails for his super form. i applied his actual super form from sonic 3 and knuckles for this. the 4 rings that generate energy? they're based on the 4 flickies that flew around and attacked for him in his super form.

20. and the last bit of trivia for now. which is also sort of a future plan too. after Stargazer is beaten there will be a filler arc revolving around Hearts and Hooves day. this may or may not be followed by another arc for Hearthswarming. it's all up in the air currently.
